Project Overview
Inspired by my love of Dutch type, the strong shoulders found in the Dutch style served as the starting point for this typeface. The addition of bold, tapered serifs create a fusion between the Dutch style and the American wood type tradition. Much like it's namesake, Fezzik, the character played by André the Giant in The Princess Bride, the resulting typeface features a strong, dependable profile with enough personality to keep it approchable.
